Siemens VDO
2001: Siemens VDO Automotive A.G. and SpotOptics started collaboration with the purpose of certifying the optical quality of the new and revolutionary Heads-Up Display (also called Head Up Displays or HUD) systems to be used in the series 5 and 6 BMW cars. SpotOptics wavefront sensor system Optino-EE23 is used.
For Siemens VDO Automotive A.G., SpotOptics developed the system for testing the HUD system in the production line. SpotOptics wavefront sensor system Optino-EE23 directly communicates with the production machine in a close loop, providing the quality control parameters.
