SpotOptics wavefront sensor systems, Optino / Lentino / Sensoft, make alignment of complex optical systems, extremely easy.
The alignment is achieved by monitoring the coma and astigmatism of the optical system under test in a continuous loop. The individual (x,y) components of coma and astigmatism as well as the total coefficients are displayed. The optimization can be done for any one component of astigmatism or coma at a time, as Sensoft, the software allows you to see any one or more components of your choice.
The optimal alignment is achieved, when all of the components converge towards the zero value along the x-axis.
An example of the adjustment being done on-line on the optical system, using our wavefront sensors, to achieve optimal alignment is shown in the graph at right
